Giorgio Scagliola & Associati owes its name to founding partner Giorgio Scagliola, who started his career in 1969
When he qualified in 1969, Giorgio Scagliola started working in the firm of his father Igino.
Originally from Santo Stefano Belbo, Igino had been practicing since 1939 and was well known in Piedmont. He was nicknamed as “the farmer lawyer” for his passion about agriculture and his reputation within the farming industry. A zealous and hard working lawyer, Igino was used to wake up at very early hours in the morning to meet clients at his office or at the farmers market, or cycle for miles to attend court hearings in Asti or Alessandria.
In 1980 Giorgio Scagliola set up his own individual practice and over the years he established his reputation in the areas of employment and trade union disputes, criminal law and civil litigation.
In 2002, his son Marco Scagliola joined the firm with a view to innovate it, in line with the trends of globalization. In that year he attended an LL.M. in international business law and a master in sports law in London, UK where in 2008 he later qualified as solicitor of England & Wales, and where he still practices in association with an English Law Firm.
Giorgio Scagliola & Associati was established as a professional partnership in 2007 and since then continued its process of renovation, with a focus on international business law and the consolidation of a network of significant relations with law firms and tax companies operating in Italy (Milan and Rome) and in most European countries and worldwide
